Kids Camera Workshop - 2 Full days
- TPS Break Feb 19 & 20

Congratulations!

I am so honored you are looking for your child to join the learning tribe here at Torres Fine Art (or even that you’re considering me as an option to get away from the kiddos- I see some of you, rock on).

No matter if your child is starting off with a brand new camera or you don’t have a camera at all, you are in the right place!

This full day camera camp is for the emerging photo enthusiast. We will cover photographic terms, go on a scavenger hunt, voice our options about what we choose to see with our viewfinders, and even make our own cameras out of basic household items.

Each day camper will receive their own learning tribe member pack, a morning and afternoon snack, lunch, and water.

Next workshop Dates:
February 19 & 20
- TPS Presidents Day Break

Chat soon and don’t forget to add us to your contact list so you aren’t missing out on all the awesome goodies we send via email.

Dream.

Big… I mean REALLY big.

Without a dream or a vision we often loose sight of the big picture…or even the smaller one.

Learn.

Something new.

Each time we create before consuming we allow ourselves the opportunity to learn something new.

Grow.

In all facets of life.

And with the little heirloom moments caught by you or a professional you will learn to grow while cherishing those small moments otherwise forgotten in a fast sea of moving life.

Community Guidelines

Simply put this will not be tolerated. Community is extremely important to me in both my business and personal life, everyone is welcome and everyone will have an opportunity to learn freely with no discriminations.

Plus, we prefer a more Love Language kind of approach.

Hate Speech

It all begins with an idea. Maybe just not your idea… ? I understand that being online you can take any shape and persona you so choose, but we want to know YOU.

The challenges you are facing with your camera, impersonating others through plagiarism of any sort will not be tolerated.

Be your authentic SELF.

There is a time and a place for everything but our site (online or in person) is no place to talk about politics, religion, Nikon vs Canon, or any other hot seated topics.

Should there be any issues two warnings will be given before a phone call for pick up is placed - although we know it won’t come to this.

Leave the drama at Sign In

Drop off your kid, grab a drink, curl up and bed and enjoy your day!

The fun will start shortly, and although you may be itching to drop the kiddos off at their Workshop, there are a few things you will need before starting.

Like making sure your contract has been signed, you’ve filled out the questionnaire, and your invoice has been paid. Your child will not be allowed into the workshop if items are not complete.

What your child will need:

  • A good attitude

  • A sweater if the building is too cold

An extra change of clothes
- If your child would like to have their individual portrait taken in something more suiting to their style at this point in life. (*Each Camper receives their own Headshot during closing words.)

Camera Supplies (Not required but if you have extras please bring them):

  • Pringles Can

  • Shoebox

  • Construction paper
(black works best inside camera obscuras, while colorful paper can be for the outside)

  • Toilet paper roll or paper towel roll

    • If you bring more we can make more cameras!

Again, Don’t Fret!
If you do not have any of these items or forget to bring anything your child will be provided with boxes along with scissors, and other necessary items to make our cameras.
