Cassandra at The Canopy
This lovely human brings an abundance of light into a room with such grace and ease, I am honored to have the pleasure of introducing you to Cassandra Gray.
Megan is super chill and good at helping you relax and just makes everything fun.
-Cassandra
Cassandra will tell you that the reason she was persuaded to have her portraits taken is due to the fact she doesn’t have many photos of herself and I think that goes to show how genuine she can be.
Truly, I have been practically begging her to have a portrait session with me for more time than I would care to admit, but hey - hard work pays off right? Because once I had the honor of her saying that she was really excited to get the opportunity to have some images that truly show who she is - I was jumping for joy!
Here’s what she had to say:
What things do you enjoy doing? Did we capture any of them?
I love painting, Megan had me bring some art supplies so that could be included in our session. I also miss and love doing anything social.
Favorite thing to do on a Sunday Morning?
Sleep in and brunch!
What were you most anxious, nervous or fearful about prior to your session? Was this concern brought up during the consultation? What was the outcome?
I don’t always love how my pics turn out, specifically I was pretty disappointed with my wedding photos. Megan and I did talk about that several times before my session and I was so happy with how the pictures she took turned out. My experience was so fun! Megan is super chill and good at helping you relax and just makes everything fun and easy.
What tips would you recommend for new clients on how to prepare for the session?
I just brought all of my clothes that I like to wear, I didn’t really have a look in mind. I was just excited to work with Megan and see what her ideas were.
I was also really nervous at first so I think it’s important to relax and listen to the advice that Megan has to give and just be open and positive.
What areas of your home did you choose to decorate?
I am excited to have the 8x8 album so I can have my favorite pics from the session and I also got the metal print for my husband for a Christmas gift which I am so excited about
Final words to prospective clients:
I would definitely suggest The Canopy Tulsa in Downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. I loved it, the lighting and the plants and just the whole feel of the venue were so cool and pretty. We got so many good pictures there.
Oh! and my ONE piece of advice to give you for your session is to have an open mind and have fun!
