Earth Day 2020

How we celebrated:

By becoming completing my SKYWARN Spotter Training and continuing to take courses to assure safe practices are always being experienced by clients even while adventuring through this beautiful earth.

Heck yeah we did! As a lover of storms, adventure, and constantly consumed by wanderlust I thought it would be fun to go ahead and get certified as a storm spotter!

This was extremely exciting for me when I learned more about it from a friend who said they were certified. My favorite part in taking this course was the ACES concept, commonly used by emergency management personnel, ACES stands for: Awareness, Communication, Escape Routes, and Safe Zones.

If you remember ACES, you can remain safe in any situation, including in photography and spotting.
