Courtney & Tyler’s Quiet Elopement
Mr. & Mrs. Price
This sweet pair!
Courtney messaged me a few days before her wedding day looking for an elopement photographer and we are sure glad these newlyweds choose us to share their special day with!
About the Couple
Courtney & Tyler
Right off the bat I knew Courtney was just a sweet heart. Even from her emails you could tell she is intelligent, communicative, and strong-willed ( definitely my type of human), so when she reached out looking for elopement heirlooms “To surprise friends and family about our special secret day” I couldn’t wait to help get them in her hands!
In the short time I had to get to know them before hand I learned that they had been together for ten years 🎉and that they wanted to have images of them running away, originally set to be at the court house - we persuaded them to do something that would suit both their styles more in continuation of their family heirlooms, and so ended up with a lovely outdoor elopement ( and sunset request - thank you Tyler).
Meeting Tyler was really great from the moment we spoke on the phone, to the moment he shuffled over to our meeting spot, I could tell he was going to be just as sweet as Courtney - oh! can’t forget to mention how striking he was with his fresh cut hair and ginger beard.
Since we knew that we were doing a first look with the couple, we also wanted to be able to showcase and meet Tyler before getting to see his beautiful new bride ( especially since all we knew was that he liked pizza! haha). As we prepped to see Courtney I learned that they shared two beautiful little humans together, that he was an absolute superstar for his littles, and that my temptations of pizza had him a little hungry … and maybe a tad bit of the nerves sprinkled in there.
The First Look
Courtney’s earth loving self wanted to be barefoot for her first look and ever so gracefully ran down to meet her husband yelling, “ I’m comin’ for ya babe!!!” as she flung her shoes off.
Right before reaching Tyler, she stopped for one final breath
before seeing her husband for the first time in her dress, and oh what a sweet sight to see.
From the moment Tyler started to turn around and catch a glimpse of Courtney you knew he was just in awe of her. That’s the kind of love these two humans share, the kind of love that no matter how many days and times you see this person, you know that in any split second - even for just a second you’re able to take in the deepest breath of air to fill your lungs and breathe out the sheer bliss of love for your human.
Into The Sunset
Through lots of laughs, playing in the trees, me almost tripping down the side of a rocky hill, and a little swooping of Courtney off her feet, off to the pond we adventured. Because what’s an Elopement session without some good ‘ole romping around this beautiful planet we live on, am I right?
We ventured high, we ventured low, and over the hill we did go.
There were shared quiet moments of love,
more laughs, two humans being comfortably authentic, and even a bit of light dancing
once we made it down to the pond; where for one last moment on this absolutely perfect day -
we shared the love these two wonderful humans have for one another.
What they had to say about their experience
How was your experience during your session?
The best experience I have had with any Professional Photographer! Megan is so sweet and kind and we felt so comfortable around her during the whole session. We will be using her for the rest of our lives!!!!

HAVE FUN
Would you have taken anything more/less, reason(s) why?
not at all everything was perfect
What did you think about the locations used for your session?
Breathtaking, absolutely perfect. Megan was really helpful suggesting beautiful local locations!
Anything else you want to say?
I just feel so blessed all of this fell into place and you and your team were able to be apart of my special day and capture breathtaking images. You have such a sweet genuine heart and soul and it really showed last night when taking care of us THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES again 🥰🥰🥰🥰😘
As always without you there would be no us, thank you again to Courtney and Tyler and all the other humans entrusting us with their portraits and heirlooms.
